
TNEI Race to COP26 – Challenge complete!
In the lead up to COP26, TNEI colleagues have been completing their Race to COP 26 challenge, clocking up the distance from Madrid, where COP25 took place, to Glasgow, the host city of COP26. Our team of 20 have been swapping their suits for boots to clock up the 1500 miles by any active and non-powered means, logging their progress on our Strava club. TNEI has made a pledge to buy protected land with the World land Trust through this challenge. Each acre of threatened habitat purchased will be protected for wildlife in perpetuity”saving endangered species from extinction, tackling climate change and safeguarding some of the world’s last remaining wilderness. Our team did everything they could to get to their target including running, paddle boarding, rollerblading, cycling, skiing to name a few! How did we do? As we approach COP26, the team have covered 3,242 Miles, completing the journey over
