NEED SOME ADVICE?
Speak to our Data Center Expert

The US data center market is in a supercycle of growth, however, the landscape is becoming increasingly complex. Securing utility interconnections, navigating National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), overcoming environmental constraints and ensuring power quality are now the primary hurdles to commercial operations.

We are a global leader in energy consultancy with over 25 years of experience. We provide the grid-to-chip expertise required to navigate these challenges to ensure your project is viable, bankable and ready to energize.

We support your project through its entire lifecycle, from initial site selection to commercial operations.

Data Center Services

Before committing capital, you need to know if a site is power ready. We can help you make smart early stage siting decisions.

TNEI manages the complex Interconnection Request (IR) process with Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs), Independent System Operators (ISOs) and investor-owned utilities.

US reliability standards the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and state and country requirements require rigorous technical validation.

We ensure that what was built continues to comply with Grid Code obligations.

TNEI has supported the planning and operation of more than 60 major data center developments across the globe, including Tier 1 hyperscale campuses for some of the world’s leading technology providers.

We assess projects ranging in size from a single turbine to large scale Section 36 developments

Wind Farm Noise Assessment

We have extensive knowledge of wind farm noise assessment, having assessed projects ranging in size from a single turbine to large scale, nationally important developments (50MW+) throughout the UK and in Ireland. We provide input at all stages of the process, from initial desktop studies and baseline surveys, through to detailed assessments, planning submissions, compliance monitoring and support for appeals and Public Inquiries.

Our wind farm noise consultants work for a range of clients, including major onshore wind developers, utility companies, private landowners and Local Planning Authorities. As well as undertaking noise assessments for proposed developments, we also undertake reviews of third party assessments for developers and local authorities.

Wind farm projects are often subject to high levels of scrutiny by Local Planning Authorities and third parties. Due to the high profile of proposed developments, it is increasingly common for projects to end up at a Public Inquiry. We can provide robust technical services to ensure that the assessments are defensible throughout the planning process and at Public Inquiry if and when required.

We provide the following services in relation to wind farm noise:

Contact us if you have any wind farm noise requirements and we will be happy to assist you.
