KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Delivering projects to a high level of technical competency.
- Supporting the preparation of tenders, proposals and submissions.
- Undertaking project management responsibilities including project planning, resourcing, risk management and budgeting.
- Peer reviewing reports and other deliverables to ensure consistency, accuracy and that they meet clients’ expectations.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and other legislative and company requirements.
- Being pro-active in collaborating with the UK team on project or proposal work.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential requirements include:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in the power systems field.
- Strong technical capability with proven experience in power system analysis, including transient and dynamic studies, protection coordination, and earthing design.
- Proficient in one or more industry-standard software tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, IPSA, PSSE, PSCAD, EMTP‑ATP, or SKM.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Desirable requirements:
- Post-graduate degree in electrical engineering.
- Capability in DPL, Python, or other modelling languages.
