TNEI was appointed to identify any risks associated with integrating a proposed wind farm in the Zambian network. The tasks included meetings with local utility ZESCO, identification of potential connection points, performing power system simulations to assess network capacity and identify any integration risks. Additionally, single line diagrams, substation general layouts and indicative cost estimates were prepared and a preliminary grid connection design was performed, including line route layouts.
