We are very excited to announce that the Management Team in TNEI have made arrangements for TNEI to be divested from Petrofac following a Management Buyout. This was completed on 1st April 2016.
TNEI was purchased by Petrofac in 2010 to provide specialist knowledge and capability in the Offshore Wind sector and we have supported Petrofac in gaining contracts for HVAC and HVDC offshore substation projects in the UK and Germany, giving them an excellent position going forward. TNEI and Petrofac will continue to work together on these types of projects, building on the relationships that have been established.
As TNEI was previously independent and Petrofac have given TNEI a large amount of autonomy over the years, we do not expect this change to have a significant impact on the way that we operate and we are excited about the opportunities that come with being a completely independent specialist consultancy in this exciting sector.
