Pengfei Wang has joined TNEI as a graduate consultant to work in our Power Systems & Technology (PST) Group based in Manchester. Prior to joining us, Pengfei was providing technical support to the Customer Led Network Revolution (CLNR) project, which is the largest smart grid project in the UK, funded by Ofgem’s Low Carbon Network Fund. Within the CLNR project, Pengfei carried out voltage control and power flow management studies with different smart grid solutions, such as distribution network voltage optimization, demand side response and electrical energy storage. He delivered technical reports and published academic papers based on the findings from the CLNR project. Pengfei also has experience on distribution network overcurrent protection coordination and protection relay certification.
Pengfei will work on a diverse range of technical consultancy projects with the PST team in Manchester.
