Our Planning & Environmental and Power Systems Groups have been working together more and more to deliver energy projects from initial feasibility to detailed design but adding in James’ skills allows us to provide a more rounded service to our clients and support them more effectively particularly when it comes to due diligence, construction management and substation layouts. I am very excited about him joining us.”

James has worked on numerous wind, solar and Short Term Operating Reserve (STOR) projects, holding various roles including Civil Engineering Designer, Owner’s Engineer, Bank’s Technical Advisor and CDM-Coordinator as well as being responsible for managing post-consent works including discharge of planning conditions, specifying and managing geotechnical investigations, managing archaeology & ecology surveys and liaising with landowners and other stakeholders.

James has also been involved in over 2GW of due diligence projects across the UK, Ireland, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, South Africa and Canada, on behalf of both vendors and lenders.
