TNEI’s Max McFarlane shortlisted for the Scottish Renewables Culture Change award!

27 May 2020

We are delighted to announce that TNEI's Max McFarlane is a finalist for the Culture Change Award in this year's Scottish Renewables Young Professionals Green Energy Awards.

Max joined TNEI as a Graduate Engineer in July 2019 and has already made a considerable impact at TNEI with his ongoing commitment to changing our culture for the better. Max has worked hard to make TNEI more carbon conscious and clearly understands the importance of increasing awareness of potential CO2 emitted by our actions, and is leading by example in helping to reduce TNEI’s carbon footprint.

So far Max has taken on the responsibility of changing our local suppliers to more environmentally friendly alternatives and has taken advantage of TNEI’s cycle to work scheme, motivating others to do so through Strava competitions in the process!

A key member of TNEI’s climate change committee, Max is a highly valued member of the team - It’s not easy to enter a new place of work and make it better within a year, but Max makes it look easy!

The winner will be announced on the 18th June - Good luck to Max and all the other finalists! To find out more about the awards visit: https://bit.ly/2Am3GYG.
