TNEI is an independent specialist energy consultancy providing technical, strategic, environmental and consenting advice to organisations operating within the conventional and renewable energy sectors. We have three offices based in the UK, in Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow and an additional office in Cape Town, South Africa. We are an established and well respected provider of a breadth and depth of knowledge and expertise in transmission, distribution, generation and electricity market regulation.

We have grown steadily, traditionally focusing on renewables and smart grids projects in the UK. In the last few years we have successfully transferred these skills to other sectors and regions and now have an established presence in South Africa and significant experience in a wider range of power related projects.

We have a small pool of high quality and trusted associates and we continue to see the merits of working with associates that bring their expertise and perspective to our areas of focus. We welcome applications from those who believe they can make a similar contribution and complement TNEI’s in-house expertise.
