TNEI, in collaboration with CEPA (an Economics consultancy), is responsible for building, maintaining, and adapting DCUSA’s Distribution Use of System (DUoS) charging models. This covers the entire range of DUoS charging models, including the Common Distribution Charging Methodology (CDCM) model and the Extra-high voltage Distribution Charging Methodology (EDCM) model.
In 2019, we provided input into Ofgem’s Significant Code Review on Access and Forward Looking Charges. Building on our work for DCUSA, we are also providing support to the SCR’s cost model subgroup. This in-depth knowledge of the process allows us to advise clients on the various network charging aspects of their projects, such as the business case for a client’s onshore renewable development.
